Navy Seals: Victims of Their Own Government…

Our American military should be ashamed.   Our valiant men and women sacrifice their lives for this country and unfortunately our country has become a politically correct liberal cess pool.

Three U.S. Navy Seals captured a known terrorists and now face charges because they  punched him during the apprehension.   As our corrupt judicial and political system moves mountains to give terrorists constitutional rights they’re not entitled to…they will also move mountains to make sure our own soldiers will not get those same rights they ARE entitled to as American citizens. My thoughts on the military are two-fold.  I am proud of those who serve and thankful everyday for their efforts to protect our interest around the world.  I admire them for doing many things I admittedly wouldn’t do…leave my family and home to fight on the other side of the world for causes I sometimes don’t agree with.  But, they do it anyway.  Thank God.

However, I feel sorry for our soldiers as well.  I truly feel many have been duped by our government.  Our government requires their very lives and then turns their back on them in cases like this…for doing the very job they were called to do.  Our politically correct culture and corrupt politicians have put our soldiers in harm’s way and care nothing about what happens to them.   This is not World War II era America….where we could at least trust our government was willing to acknowledge our enemy and destroy them.   Now, we rename wars as not to offend our enemy…we capture our enemy and give them U.S. Constitutional rights…we refuse to bomb them when hiding in mosques…the list goes on and on.

I am proud of our soldiers.  I am not proud of the American government and how our leaders use our troops and then throw them away like trash.

I think Americans everywhere should stand-up and speak out against our military, judicial system and politicians to make sure these three men are awarded with honors instead of facing prison time.   Our enemies must be laughing at our foolishness.

Quick To Discredit God?…

In the last few days we’ve read a miracle story about Rom Houben, a man who has been in a coma for the last 23 years.  It’s a miracle because Mr. Houben finally came out of his coma…and now he is telling  his story.  Mr. Houben, is able to communicate by typing with the help of a speech therapist.

Mr. Houben’s story is one that doctors, scientists and the government (liberals) don’t want you and I to hear.  He tells how in the entire 23 span he was completely conscience and aware of everything going on around him.  He heard what people were saying and screamed on the inside to communicate with his family and doctors.   He was trapped.  However, many don’t want this story to be true…because its contradictory to the direction our culture wants to take us.  We are now the culture of death remember?  We are encouraged to end life for comforts sake.  We are encouraged to abort for convenience sake.  We are told that the person in the coma will not know any better and will be in a better place.  There are many reasons that death is encouraged by these elitist groups…but, lets focus on the root issue.  GOD.

To admit a miracle would require us to acknowledge there is a God…and that he is sovereign.  If we have to admit that…we then have to acknowledge He requires us to live a certain way and live by certain morals…to encourage life!  That is why people like Arthur Caplan, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania, want to deny this miracle.  Mr. Caplan says that it’s not possible (by his understanding) and he believes the speech therapist is actually speaking instead of Mr. Houben.   Read article here.  So, why are we so quick to have an “expert” refute an obvious miracle?    Its simple…elitist professors like Mr. Caplan cannot stand the existence of God….because it would require him to humble himself and admit his earthly work here is erroneous and unfruitful.   It would require him to examine himself and acknowledge that he is denying the power and sovereignty of God.  

Oh…how the progressives and liberals who saturate our universities, hospitals and government hate such miracles…and embrace the race to death.   Unless, I suppose…it were them.

Our Obsession With Death…

This past weekend the vampire series “Twilight” broke many box office records…in fact, vampires seem to be taking over the mainstream culture of America.  What is it with America and our obsession with death?

I was recently in a Borders bookstore…they have an entire section dedicated to vampires…almost everyone of the vampire series were directed and kids and teens.  I observed with a heavy heart as a young kid about eight years old explained to his mother in great detail particular vampire characters.  Ironically, like a zombie…she half listened and told him to just get the books he wants.  She never blinked an eye when he told her of the death and gore…like many Americans and parents…she’s not interested in her child or maybe  has just grown used to our death culture.  Just get the books son.

As we watch the news and see the daily tragedy’s in life occurring all over our nation…should we be surprised?   A Cleveland rapists and murderer was just discovered to have numerous bodies buried under his home.  Murders are just a normal part of our days and we move on with hardly a notice.  Oh, we may say how horrible…or how could someone do such a thing.  But, it never bothers us enough to examine how American culture has reached this point. 

American parents are much to blame.  We don’t really care what influences we allow to expose our children to…we have other things to do.  We don’t take seriously the real evil that exists in the very type of material in these books.  We no longer think evil is a serious threat or even real.  We no longer believe in the God of the Bible and his enemy Satan…

Satan…our enemy is targeting our youth at younger and younger ages every year it seems.  And, we make it so easy for him don’t we? He takes murder and death and wraps it up into a package that looks like a cool movie or book. We don’t see the obvious.  We don’t even put a stumbling block in his way to protect our children.   We should be building walls for defense and teaching our children to wear the full armor of God.  Sadly, we give him a clear path to our children’s mind…and our kids will pay the costs….our country will pay the costs…and ultimately, as  parents, we will be held accountable by God for what we allowed HIS children to be exposed to…and our effort (or lack of) to stop it.

Is America A Christian Nation?

Until the 1960’s we could have confidently said we are a Christian nation.  However, our nation’s moral decline of the last forty years is undeniable.  Over the last forty years, our nation has eliminated God from the schools and public life.  Legalized abortion…and much more.   Our education system does not teach truthful history…but instead, re-writes history that deceives our children, while empowering the agenda of the liberal and progressive social movement.   Our education system refuses to teach the role that God played in the lives of our Founding Father’s.  In fact, most places of learning now teach that our Founding Dad’s were actually atheists, deists and enemies of Christ.

Here is a video by David Barton,of WallBuilders, a scholarly historian with a presentation of the history of the United States and how the God of the Bible was the cornerstone.  Watch video here.  You will find he provides a multitude of manuscripts from our Founding Father’s, many who held seminary degrees, and insisted that God is the source of our freedom and liberties.

Do you know why the public schools were originally formed?   The Ole’ Satan Deluder Act was passed in Massachusetts in the mid 17th century because the Puritans were deeply religious and believed in the very real presence of evil/Satan. They believed if they read and studied the Scriptures enough they could resist evil and Satan’s temptations. This Act was the first Education Act in America to make sure all townships with 50 or more households provided a school to teach children to read and write. Learning to read was a necessity in order to thwart the Ole’ Deluder (Satan).

An interesting point Mr. Barton makes in this video is when he shows college students a picture of the signers of the Constitution…the only two they ever recognize are the two who were not Christians.  Fine job by our now liberal education system.

Anyone Opposing Obama Policies Is An Extremist…

Apparently, Barak Obama was behind the scenes giving fellow democrats a pep talk to pass the health care bill.  I find it quite disturbing that Obama regards anyone who opposes his policies as tea baggers and extremists.  See article from New York Times here.   Of course, we shouldn’t be surprised…after all, our President along with Homeland Security Secretary, Nancy Napolitano, once called U.S. veteran’s extremists and terrorists.  If you don’t remember…read the Wall Street Journal article here. 

 

Joy Behar Hates Abortion Profits…

Yesterday on The View…the ladies discussed big families and abortion.  See here.  What really struck me is how Joy Behar totally misses the point of the tragedy of abortion.  Unfortunately, I think her thinking is predominant in this country…especially among women.

Joy comments that “it’s disgusting.”  At first, I thought…holy cow she is actually calling abortion disgusting…maybe she is starting to see the light.  But then, I was brought back to reality when she concluded her sentence by saying that making a profit from abortion is disgusting…the abortion itself is a necessary service to women.  I am not advocating profits from abortion…but isn’t it interesting that liberals hate profit so much?  To them…murder is not the problem…its the profit.  Amazing.

Then as usual…Elisabeth Hassleback enters the conversation with the only truthful insight that panel ever produces and she’s attacked for it.  Her point that the ladies were characterizing christian women who have big families and home-school are “cultish” was spot on. Of course, Barbara “I’m to old to be breathing air” Walters interrupted as usual by flatly denying that’s what was being done.

Barbara is a typical liberal.  They try to demonize anything christian and/or conservative…and then when the facts are presented against them…they change the subject and attack their enemy with irrelevant opinions.

Maine Soddomizers Not Allowed To Marry…

Thank God the people of this country are starting to get some sense by voting down the abomination of gay marriage.  Wait, let me correct myself…the American people (voters) have always been against it…the gay community usually gets their judgements by taking it to a panel of three judges and getting two of them to unconstitutionally vote to approve gay marriage.  Read article here.

I won’t even list the multitude of Bible verses that condemn homosexuality…because most who don’t think its sinful don’t care what the Bible says anyway…and do not view it for what it is…the Word of God.  So, let’s focus on our victory…and build on the fact that the majority of Americans still believe there is a line between obvious right and wrong…and this time the wrong lost.   And all the Lord’s people said “AMEN”!!!

Obama and Congress Exempt From National Healthcare?

If it’s not obvious by now…it should be.  Barak Obama and the Congress are the most dishonest president and congress in the history of these United States.  Congress has decided to make themselves and the president exempt from the national healthcare plan the rest of us will be under by force.  Read here.

This president and congress are marxists/socialists.  They are un-American.  It is high time for another American Revolution.   This administration is taking away private insurance that most of us have EARNED.  Now, to insure those who haven’t earned it…we will be robbed of our liberty and freedoms!  Shame on anyone who voted for these deplorable people. 

This administration can’t even meet its own standards regarding the distribution of the swine flu vaccine.  Didn’t it seem timely that the swine flu became a “national emergency” at the same time the national healthcare bill was being hammered out?  Oh I know…liberals like to call it healthcare REFORM.  In the America we used to live in….STEALING was not called REFORM.  I truly believe that anyone that places their trust in this president and congress doesn’t deserve the liberty and freedom we are all about to lose.  And, shame on us who know better for not doing more about it.

Swine Flu Vaccine For Detainees?…

This blog is all about pointing out the obvious.  Because its obvious…common sense no longer applies to the American way of thinking.  Take this for instance.  The Barak Obama administration is considering including Guantanamo Bay terrorists detainees as those who should get the swine flu vaccine.  Now, common sense would tell you not to do anything that would save the lives of your known sworn enemies.  But, in the new America…we no longer think that way.  In the new America…we put our war veteran’s on terrorist watch lists and we show compassion to the real terrorists. 

I’m no advocate for the swine flu vaccine.  It appears most are doing fine getting through it…and we certainly may be looking at another 1976 swine flu disaster where unneccessary panic led to vaccines that eventually led to some developing neurological disorders and even death.

This particular post is not designed to debate whether or not to get the flu vaccine.  This post is to point out the obvious….our sworn enemies certainly should not be privy to getting them.

Casino’s In Toledo A Bad Idea…

Voting Issue 3 will bring a casino to Toledo.  Bad news.  Even though Toledo voters have voted casino’s down a number of times in the past, they still seem to make their way back on the ballot.  Toledo’s two mayoral candidates both support a casino.  They believe like many others…that it will create jobs and tax revenue for the city.  For some reason…the Toledo Police supports casino’s because of the jobs…but, the last several times have been against casino’s.  Why?  I can only imagine it’s because of the recent police layoff…apparently, Toledo Police are not as concerned about the troubles a casino will bring…as long as it gets some of them called back to work.

Why do I oppose a Toledo casino?  Well, I don’t doubt that for a while it will create some jobs and some revenue.  But, what about the costs?  What about the parent(s) who neglect their family because they go to the casino….waste time away from kids…and blow the kids college tuition…or even the mortgage.  But, no need to worry, we will probably increase taxes to help those who get addicted and collectively support various organizations to “reform” and “counsel” the addicted.  Of course, that will create even more jobs because you must have professionals to tell people it was a bad idea to put their life savings down the toilet….I mean, slot machine.

Casino’s will also bring with it more crime and prostitution to the area.  Increase drunken driving and morally bankrupt the city.  Oh, I know…if I don’t like gambling I have the choice not to go.  But, I won’t have the choice to withhold my income being used (higher taxes) to fund recovery programs for the addicted.   How do I know this?  Well, that is the path this city and this nation has been on for years.  The government is now in the business of bailing out private business.   When Toledo’s COSI Science Center…which was privately owned…failed….it ended up going on the ballot and tax dollars saved it.  We were told we had a choice to go or not to go to COSI….I chose NOT to go…yet, I still end up paying.  As will be with the casinos.

Also, I fail to see how casino’s have saved Detroit.  Since MGM went into downtown Detroit…the city has since become the nation’s poorest city.   To deny that morality and finances go hand and hand…is just plain foolishness.  Detroit is a ghost town…it looks like a post-war desolate city.  If we want to see how casino’s will affect Toledo…all we really need to do is look about 60 miles north.
